(1 adult to 12 children):

We are proud of our private kindergarten program.  Kindergarten is available to children who are 5 years of age by September 1st.  This is a full day program with no extra charge for before and after care.  Class consists of 12 lucky children who enjoy the benefits of lots of enrichment programs and extra curricular activities, as well as thematic field trips and special guests.  This cozy setting gives our Kindergarteners the individual attention they need to grow and learn at their own pace.  Children who successfully complete Ducklings Kindergarten can go on to first grade in their home school district.

Sample Daily Schedule for our Kindergarten

• 7:00-9:00 AM - Arrival: bring your own breakfast, free play
• 9:00-10:00 - AM Circle Time: calendar, current events, sight words, songs, circle games, and thematic books.
• 10:00-10:15 - morning snack and bathroom break
• 10:15-10:30 - Handwriting lab
• 10:30-11:45 - Centers: computers, math center, science lab, manipulatives, art, poetry, and journal writing
• 11:45-12:15 - Gym or outside for organized games and exercise.
  * Karate, Dance, or Spanish when in session
• 12:15-12:45 - Lunch
• 12:45-1:00 - PM  Clean up and bathroom break
• 1:00-2:00 - Chapter book and quiet activities
• 2:00-3:00 - Continue centers from the morning
• 3:00-6:00 - Outside or gym, free play, pick up
